Program Overview
Designed to expose nurses to global concepts and advanced practice, 熊猫在线视频's M.S. in Global Health Nursing allows students to bridge the disciplines of nursing, public health, and international health. The program prepares nurses to respond to the evolving diversity of patient populations while strengthening their capacity to deliver culturally responsive, equitable care. This concentration emphasizes the multifaceted role of the global health nurse—as educator, clinician, scholar, and advocate, shaping health policy and practice.
Students will have the opportunity to integrate theory and experience in the expanding global health care environment through an internship and research capstone project that meets the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Cultural Competencies for Graduate Nursing Education. Internship placements are arranged individually through the Cummings School of Nursing & Health Sciences with your global health nursing career goals in mind, and students are required to complete 144 hours, part preceptor/part project-based.
