This honor recognizes a program that has been active for fewer than two years and has demonstrated a clear path to excellence through outstanding achievements in competition, academics, or community engagement.
The award was presented during the organization’s annual national convention, July 29-31, in Jacksonville, Fla., on the campus of the University of North Florida.
“We are honored to receive this award from one of the most prestigious organizations in the collegiate esports space,” said Brendan Hall, Esports Coordinator at Endicott. “It’s an acknowledgment that we are continuing to grow this program the right way, but also an affirmation of what amazing students we have at Endicott esports.”
NACE is a nonprofit dedicated to advancing esports as a collegiate varsity sport while supporting student success and program growth.
During the 2025-26 season, the Gulls captured a NECC National Championship in Rainbow Six: Siege, three NECC division titles (two for R6: Siege, one for Rocket League), a top-3 finish in Fortnite Builds and top-10 in Fortnite Zero Builds, in PlayVS College League, among other achievements.
The Endicott Esports Lab has emerged as a staple of the student experience at the Nest. Opened in the fall of 2024, the lab sits in the heart of Lower Callahan and routinely draws hundreds of students per semester. The lab also regularly hosts professional esports organizations for bootcamps ahead of major tournaments in Boston.
